Niyati woke around eight, the soft morning light spilling through the curtains. She rose slowly, freshened up, and made her way downstairs. Breakfast was calm, shared with her mother-in-law, the table spread with simple, nourishing food. Between bites, her thoughts drifted back to last night—how Ranvijay had noticed her pain, how he had cared without a word, only actions. A quiet warmth filled her chest at the memory, mixed with a pang of guilt for taking his rest.

Her mother-in-law asked gently, “Are you coming to the studio today?”
